Line-by-Line editing means Theresa looks at every line, recommends corrections for pacing and tension, and checks for continuity errors. She also identifies awkward phrasing, repetitive wording, unclear passages, and opportunities to strengthen character voice, dialogue, and emotional impact. The goal is to help your manuscript read more smoothly while preserving your unique style and vision.
Theresa will do a 5-page sample to ensure you and she are a good match.

Developmental Editing
Developmental editing means Theresa looks at the big-picture elements of your manuscript, including story structure, plot, character arcs, pacing, and overall reader experience, ensuring your story is ready for the spotlight. She identifies areas where scenes may be missing, characters need stronger motivation, stakes can be raised, or the narrative could be streamlined for greater impact. The goal is to help you create a stronger, more engaging book before focusing on sentence-level edits.
Tier 1:Two-read throughs, an editorial letter (includes structural analysis), in-line comments, and a 1:1 zoom session. The cost is $0.0175 per word.
Tier 2: One-read through, an editorial letter (includes structural analysis), in-line comments, and 3 1:1 zoom sessions (broken up by several weeks). The cost is $0.0125 per word.
Additional Zoom sessions are available for either tier. $50/session.

Two-hours is $100.
Formatting
Do you have your book edited to perfection, but need a little help making those chapter headings look good? Or are you confused about the difference between ebook and paperback book formatting? We’re here to help. You’ll receive the files for a professionally formatted ebook and paperback book. This includes chapter headings.
$125 for any book under 100K and less than 5 pictures.
Add an additional $5 for each 10k over 100K words and an additional $5 for each picture.
Entire Package
Do you want all the pieces done for your book, but want control over the publishing process? With this, you get to choose whether to go exclusive with Amazon, or kick Amazon to the curb or go “Wide” to publish your book everywhere. With our Give-Me-The-Book Package you’ll get developmental edits, line-by-line edits, formatting, proofreading, and a cover (ebook and paperback). This includes the blurb, barcodes, and the other items necessary to ensure your book is ready for publishing.
It will also include walk-throughs and 1:1 sessions about the various publishing distributors including Ingramspark, Draft2Digital, and KDP. This is perfect for those who want to be an indie-author, but don’t want to search and contract with an editor, cover artist and formatter.
Note: This package does NOT include ISBN numbers, as you need to purchase those yourself as YOU are publisher.
